UBL Open show - June 24th, 2007.
*Pyro goes off as the Orochi-Tron repeatedly flashes "Open" in different colors and fonts to confirm tonight's status as the first UBL "Open" show ever! UBL Owner OrochiGeese is seated in the front row next to OG-Joshi World Champion, Holly and her brother Kyle Walker, who is looking on intently while wearing a "Wrestle Wars" tshirt. Various other e-fed dignitaries, including many members of the Universal Champion League 2007 are also seated at ringside! Maybe your character is one of them! Or not? Avast!*
*Jang Bae comes down to the ring, flanked by Thunder Strike who is there to watch Jang's back in light of Geese's front row presence. Thunder Strike then glares angrily at Kyle's t-shirt which prompts Holly to whisper in Kyle's ear. Kyle responds with "are you sure I should ask him that?" which causes Holly to vociferously nod yes. Kyle shrugs his shoulders and leans over the rail:
Kyle: "Hey Mr. Thunder Strike, can I get your autograph on this Wrestle Wars t-shirt?"
*Holly starts uncontrollably laughing, even OrochiGeese grins pretty widely. Kyle looks a bit confused but is smart enough to realize he pissed Thunder Strike off and backs up a few steps. Before things can get ugly, "Cast a Lonely Shadow" hits the speakers and a VERY focused Mr. Clyde comes down to ringside. OrochiGeese pats him on the back and nods approvingly when he sees Clyde's intensity. The match is about to begin when Jang Bae reaches out to touch gloves. Clyde actually responds in kind and we're ON:*
Match #1 - Jang Bae vs. Mr. Clyde - [FLASH]
*What a match to kick off the first Open show!! Even more amazingly, no antics occur post match! OrochiGeese and co. stay seated while Thunder Strike accompanies Jang Bae backstage, followed by Mr. Clyde after a brief consultation with OrochiGeese. We're off to a great start!*
*A short video package reviewing the events of the previous two Universal Champion League 2007 shows airs on the OrochiTron todistract entertain the fans as the tireless UBL ring crew begins putting on the approved BINGO-1 mat. When they are ready, the two BINGO-1 teams make their way down to the ring.
Unless you've been living under a rock or this is your first time visiting the internet (welcome!), you've heard about the phenomenal BINGO-1 debut show from last week. So its our honor to have four competitors from BINGO-1 show represent their fed in this next match!
Match #2 - BINGO-1 Offer Match: Dan Hanson/Bruiser Brady vs. The Crusher/Incredible Ohdie - [FLASH]
*As the fans chant "BIN-GO, BIN-GO" and others chant "BING-OH!", OrochiGeese nods his head in approval as to the obvious entertainment value of the UBL/BINGO-1 business relationship.*
Meanwhile, the ring crew gets things set up for more UBL action as Generation NEON star Gavin Usher comes down to ringside accompanied by the LAWL OMG Champion, Ruby Moreno. This choice of ring second proves to be a mistake for Gavin as Holly wastes NO time in starting the cat-calls and derisive comments directed at Ruby! And Ruby wastes no time in returning them with VIGOR! The bickering gets SO heated, in fact, that fellow geNEON members Dwayne Reade and Ryan Wright actually run down to ringside to stop Ruby from doing anything foolish in light of Geese's proximity. Reade starts to escort Ruby backstage, but not before she makes a particularly vicious comment about Sandy Morton's health (something along the lines of "I hope your little twat friend doesn't infect all of Los Angeles"), which causes Holly to attempt to jump the rail but is then held back by Kyle. Wright stays to back up Usher as Ruby goes backstage ranting to Reade and the fans how she's the TRUE Ace of women's wrestling.
Passing them on their way out is the opponent of Gavin, Park Hyun-Soo, joined by LRI member Stuart Robinson. Stuart looks over Ruby and makes a particularly saucy remark, but Ruby doesn't seem to mind. Dwayne Reade is less then pleased but still is concerned with keeping Ruby away from Holly so they go backstage without incident. Stuart talks strategy with Park Hyun-Soo and the match is set to begin!*
Match #3 -Park Hyun-Soo (PTFW) vs. Gavin Usher (geNEON) - [FLASH]
*Some post match friction occurs between Park/Stuart and the two geNEON members at ringside but the fans applaud the efforts of both Gavin and Park. Both sides go backstage without any confrontation, though Stuart is busy mumbling something while Park looks perplexed at the near physical impossibilities of the allegations Stuart is making about geNEON's mothers. Looks like these two sides may have more that they want to say and do to each other the next time they face off in or out of the ring!*
*Our next match has been described as the "bathroom break" match by many fans in the audience. And a big thanks to audience plant "Mean" Jean Carter getting the "fan scoop" while blending in with a trenchcoat (in the middle of June no less). But if the fans are already shitting on the match, these two wrestlers don't know it yet! Cause they have both come down to ringside ready as ever!
Holly is lightly jabbing Geese in the ribs to get his attention while pointing and laughing at Furis explaining: "That's the goof I had Goosed in LAWL". Geese looks less then amused and more CONfused as to why "the goof" is dressed like a vampire and on HIS show! Geese shouts out: "Show me something, 'pire, or this will be the last time you'll EVER be seen in the UBL.." This just adds to Furis' anxiety as he has enough on his mind, what with his narrator 'friend' telling him that Centurion was about to destroy his vampire mansion!! Furis wastes no time and goes right after Centurion and this joke match serious encounter is on!

*Well Mr. Furis had done it, the vampire had won it, with Roman Centurion cluckin all the while...
*Cough, ahem, sorry. What I TOTALLY meant to say was that Jakob Furis has just won!! He is astonishingly able to win the FIRST match of his career! How!? Was it the Khali Chop that did it for him? Or the RKO? Or the total ineptitude of Centurion!? Either way, Furis does NDP proud (well, more proud then if he had lost!) by picking up his first career and UBL victory! But does this mean Centurion will call off the attack on Furis' mansion? Let's find out!
*Furis gets a microphone and approaches Centurion's downed body.*
Furis: "A-ha! I have beaten you! Beaten the mighty Voman! Now I ask you! No, I DEMAND that you call off your legion's attack on Furis Castle! If not, I vill end your life with my bite!"
*Centurion is totally and utterly confused. And who wouldn't be in his position? He's clearly delusional to BEGIN with and now he's faced with someone who is possibly even crazier then he is babbling something about Centurion attacking his castle! What's an anachronism to do?"
Centurion: "Inflecto ut Rome!" (Bow to Rome!)
*At that, Centurion manages to lift his knee up RIGHT into Furis' 'nether regions'! Furis then bends over in pain, amazingly in a pose that resembles a bow! Centurion roars in approval and clubs him on the back of the head! He then leaves the ring with what's left of his dignity as Furis rolls on the ground holding himself in pain. Looks like this isn't over! The 'invasion' is still on! Maybe?*

The next match is about as serious as the previous match wasn't. As it reflects somewhat of a long term rivalry that has been recently sparked into full blown anger and VENGEANCE. For years in the old UBL, Thunder Strike was a top rival of Naja and Marauder. And at the first 2007 Singles League show, things escalated as Thunder Strike KO'd Naja Mask with the "Thunder Clap". And last weekend, Marauder and Thunder Strike had an absolute WAR with each other in the ring, which ended with a victory for Marauder. There are a lot of ways this match can go, especially when you consider the physical punishment all four of these men has suffered through in the first two Singles League shows. One thing is for sure, these teams do NOT like each other and they do NOT like OrochiGeese. And that sentiment is shared by Geese as well, who is pointing to his face after last week's episode where Naja spit mist into his eyes. OG is cautioning Kyle Walker to stay away from these four men, but instructing him to watch this match closely. Holly looks bored as she has already started holding a THREE SIDED SIGN that has written on it: "Thunder Strike = Boring = Alicia Gordon". She pats her mouth to feign a snoring motion but Geese looks completely interested in the match about to take place. As do the four competitors who get right into it!*

Jason appears to be a bit annoyed that Thunder Strike did not help him out at the end, but its unclear as to whether or not he was physically able to, given the punishment of this match and the previous week. Naja and Marauder prove their tag team abilities and go to leave the ring as Jason and Thunder Strike have a bit of a tense moment. This is interrupted by Geese screaming out insults to them, which just causes them to put aside their problems and refocus on him as the main problem. Still, its clear they are less then happy with what went down in this match. And when Jason tries talking about it more calmly on the way back, he's somewhat ignored by Thunder Strike who's attention is firmly on Geese and Holly, the latter of which has started making faces at Thunder Strike as Kyle look somewhat embarrassed. Geese grins widely and mouths "this is just the start" to Thunder Strike. Its unclear as to whether he was referring to Holly's childish antics or the fact that Thunder Strike just lost, but we'll go with the second theory here.*

Drake: "And now it is time for the mayyyyyyn event! This will be a Last Man Standing match and is under the authority of UBL head referee, Himura Kenshin."
*Kenshin bows, then returns to battou stance...just in case there's trouble.*
Drake: "First, in the gold corner, standing tall at 190 cm and weighing 104 kilos, he is a former PW-W Tag Champion and a TWO time PW-W Grandmaster Champion. He is also a decorated Collegiate championship wrestler. Ladies and gentlemen in the Battle Chamber, I give you all, Eddie Swaaaaaaaaaaaannnnn!"
"This is War" by Vandenburg hits the speakers as Wrestling Ace Eddie Swan comes down to the ring flanked by Jo Ryder. Eddie looks extremely confident, having already beaten Mr. Figaro a number of times before. He passes OrochiGeese and smirks at him too. Unfortunately, he has ALSO made a "ring second" mistake, perhaps one worse then Gavin Usher's. Only this time, it's not just Holly that's causing trouble, its Kyle as well. Kyle turns red with rage at the sight of Jo Ryder and starts yelling "home wrecker" to her. Jo looks utterly confused, then sees who is sitting next to Kyle, does the math, and looks a bit taken back. Holly sees Kyle's anger and it spurs her old wounds to open up and she unloads on Jo with the longest profanity chain we have heard in the continental United States since the Taft presidency. Jo contemplates and decides it is in the best interest of Eddie's concentration if she leaves the ringside area. She wishes Eddie luck and then glares at Holly on the way out. Kyle goes to throw his drink at her but Geese advises against it saying it will just encourage unruly behavior among the fans next time they see Jakob Furis.*
Drake: "Next, in the blue corner, standing equally tall at 190 cm but weighing 110 kilos, he is a former FPN Tag Team Champion and one half of the last reigning McPro Tag Champions of the previous era. This man is a proud man and destructive force of Orochi army, he is Meeeesterrr Fiiiigarrrrro...*Pause* Fiiiigarrrrro!"
*"Crimson over Imperial Skies" hits as the mountain of a man walks though the curtains. This is not the usual Mr. Figaro we are seeing either, he appears more cut and FOCUSED. He marches down the aisle with a mighty gait to his step and enters the ring. He salutes Geese and then gets into fighting stance.*
Drake: "Gentleman, this match will end on four conditions: A pin, submission, knockout, or most tellingly, if one of you are unable to answer a standing 10 count. Now touch gloves and let's get this started."
