Session 4
Field Leader: Matt Rivers
We start off with a much needed treat for our fans as assistant trainer, Juan Leche, has decided to interject himself into the situation between El Fantasma Verde and Tyler Alexander. Things have definitely gotten a little too heated between them for my taste. And since Juan has similar roots to both men, he thought he'd be able to steer this feud back into a rivalry before it turns into an ugly feud. Juan knows what it takes to win gold and hopefully can show both men that they should be more focused on winning then advancing bad blood.
Match 1 - Fantasma Verde vs. Tyler Alexander vs. Juan Leche
I understandably wasn't keen on having Rousseau this show. But months ago he swore that he'd avenge Grant Thumb who was injured at the hands of Algernon. So I'm giving him a chance to not embarrass himself. Given how Luke Kisiera stepped up last week, maybe Rousseau can as well. Algernon is someone I'm keeping a close eye on due to his impressive size and technical ability.
Match 2 - Parachute Rousseau vs. Algernon LeBlanc
Gen X has made a resurgence onto the scene after spending their summer helping out communities. But they weren't away long enough for Fuzen Tara Seitan to forget what happened earlier this year. After the leader of Gen X, Mark Spirals, defeated Jean DuBreil, the rest of F.T.S. tried to attack him, only to be run off by Jayden and Tyler. So there's some obvious 'bad blood' here, and not just cause Jean is involved.
Match 3 - Jayden Blayze/Tyler Jett (Gen X) vs. Marquis de Douleur/Jean DuBreil
Lucha La Barba won the Battle Royale in Session 2 and then beat Jin Onusurai in Session 3. It's clear this winner of the Triple Mex "Ultimate Gringo" show is a force to be reckoned with. I dare say he may even be an early candidate for graduation to the main roster. So I have spent the last few weeks training with Juan Leche in an attempt to be fully equipped to face La Barba's lucha style. But I'll confess that the training may not be enough. La Barba knows how to wrestle in an unorthodox manner that I'm not terribly familiar with or have experience against. On the plus side, facing such a style is exactly why I came to UBL and decided to stay on the Front Lines. So no matter what who wins, both La Barba and I will be getting an education tonight. But I will do all in my power to defend my Title.
