*News wire for August 2019 posted on the UBL website:
"Barton Miller sustained significant injuries during the July stop of the Debased tour. He has been added to the injured list. There are no plans for his immediate return and we all fear for his health due to the condition he was in after the match and the damage his body sustained. We hope to hear soon from JET Hamada: his friend, student, and tag team partner. Yoshirozuna will not be punished for his role. Despite the bad blood, the injury to Barton occurred as the result of a legal maneuver being utilized during the course of a match.
In happier news, we are pleased to announce that a former tag team specialist from the FPCPP, Jeremy Moore, will soon make his long-awaited debut in UBL competition after having signed a contract years ago.
We are also excited to renew our talent sharing relationship with ZIP Japan - one that we have enjoyed for 10 years. Arthur Wingate and Drake Yoshida have watched their current tour, culminating with the ZIP Japan FINAL FIGHT event. ZIP has graciously agreed to share these roster members with us and UBL has left the door open for further talent trading.
The ZIP Japan wrestlers making their UBL debut are Newfie George, Touma Tanaka, and Jumbo Jinzei.
The ZIP Japan wrestlers making their UBL return are Jimmy Nails & Mickey Grinds.
Let's see what ZIP Japan has had to say about these wrestlers:
Newfie George:
Touma Tanaka:
Jumbo Jinzei:
Jimmy Nails:
Mickey Grinds:
UBL would also like to congratulate our very own Tsaoring Chou for making it to the Quarter Finals of the 49th Parallel Tournament this year. Tsaoring had the best matches of his young career in this 32-wrestler tournament featuring international representing the United States and Canada. We hope that he can continue his momentum this year. On behalf of UBL, this has been John Randolph."

Let's see what ZIP Japan has had to say about these wrestlers:
Newfie George:
This rough Canadian brawler just likes to fight. After making a name for himself in several amateur toughman contests, George made the transition into pro wrestling and participated in the first 49th Parallel tournament last year. Following a series of independent bookings over the past year, he has finally signed his first pro contract with ZIP JAPAN.
Touma Tanaka:
A loudmouthed, arrogant heel with the skills in the ring to back up his talk, Tanaka has been tearing up the independent scene for several years in Japan. He has achieved success nearly everywhere he has gone, utilizing his formidable technical skills to win several world championships. Recently signed to ZIP JAPAN and has focused his sights on the ZIP JAPAN Heavyweight Championship.
Jumbo Jinzei:
Jumbo Jinzei is a giant, ugly beast of a man. The only thing he loves more than eating is flattening his opponents with his belly. Although this former pro sumo wrestler is a huge slob, he can be surprisingly quick and agile for such a big man. He tends to gas out pretty quickly, but he can be devastating in short bursts. If Jinzei builds up a head of steam, get out of the way!
Jimmy Nails:
No-nonsense Canadian grappler Jimmy Nails is a living embodiment of the term "leg work". Jimmy's in-ring style is focused heavily on wearing down his opponents limbs before applying one of his signature submissions. One half of obligatory gaijin tag team with Mickey Grinds.
Mickey Grinds:
Once a semi-pro skateboarder, Mickey was forced to give up skating due to a series of knee injuries. A long-time fan of pro wrestling, he decided to take a shot at it himself, and after a few years of intense training Mickey has found success in ZIP JAPAN's tag team division. He and his partner Jimmy Nails have held the promotion's Tag Team Championship on 3 separate occasions in the past 10 years
