"Debasement" Tour – Show 4
Original Taping: September 13, 2019
Broadcast Date: September 13, 2019
Location: "Peter Venkman Memorial Arena" in Westchester, New York.
*The fans of the Battle Chamber come to life as the BattleTron turns on, signaling the start of your next round of debasement! Rejoice and feel oh so dirty at the pleasure you are soon to receive!*
Jumbo Jinzei comes to us from ZIP Japan and debuts in our first match. "Jumbo" is not a misnomer as he clocks in as one of the largest men on our roster. But if anyone can contend with his size and power, mayhaps it’s UBL’s resident Viking: Brandr Hoff! A few years back, he was able to defeat Destiny's Matthias, one of the largest men this roster has ever had to contend with. Brandr has also gotten extremely close to defeating Matt Rivers for the NEXUS Championship on two separate occasions. However, after losing to Sirius Mask in June, Brandr showed an uncharacteristic lack of sportsmanship in leaving without shaking hands. Whether that reaction was based on fleeting frustration or not, he’s in good company tonight as Jumbo does not look the type to clasp anything but your throat and slam it to the ground. And before the bell even has a chance to ring in this encounter, it’s clear that these men are primed for war. They are staring at each other with such intensity that the referee looks faint in response. Let’s get this started before a fan has a nosebleed!

The fans don’t know whether to be more scared of Jumbo or surprised at Brandr Hoff. One has to question his motivations for using a steel chair during the match. Was it out of frustration or a concern that he would be unable to defeat Jumbo on his own? In any case, the fans' respect is firmly with Jumbo for defeating one of UBL’s perennial main eventers in such impressive fashion during his debut. The NEXUS Division has a large new threat to contend with!
Brandr Hoff (X) [Muscle Bomb Press – 18:26] (O) Jumbo Jinzei
Brandr storms out of the ring, once again. Luckily, it does not appear that Jumbo's feelings are hurt as a result! That is a good thing, as his massive and possible acidic tears could melt the ring!
*A commercial for DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Wrestling airs.*
Our second match scheduled for tonight starts with “Three of a Kind” already in the ring. Jasper Woodruff is doing weird looking calisthenics-like…stuff on his own while Charles Langford is handing Kurt Sanders a live microphone.
[Kurt:] “I’d like to thank my mentor, the southern gentlemanly Charles Langford, for giving me the inner strength to wrestle tonight's match. I'm going up against friends of the man who traumatized me in front of the good fans of this honorable promotion. It’s gonna be triggering to have to see them and think of him, but I know I can do it.”
*Kurt passes the mic to Charles who pats him on the back with a million-dollar smile.*
[Charles:] “I never thought I’d step foot in the ring again, son. But your struggle, your heroism in facing it, has inspired me to make my celebrated return. If you can do it, then I can will this ole body back in shape for the right cause. And I say it is a true honor wrestling by your side. You just go about your business proving your superiority to Tetsu. Jasper and I will make sure that all the action stays in the ring and out of your pants. You doubled your briefs though, right?”
*Kurt stifles a laugh and looks down his pants. He gives a thumbs-up and Charles nods.*
[Charles:] “Now, we don’t got all night! RYOMA, Tetsu, bring out ya partner… if you were even able to find one!”
*Universal Circuit Champion Tetsu Gushiken and RYOMA appear on the entrance ramp and stare down their opponents.*
However, they don’t walk to the ring just yet and the audience waits in anticipation. Without stablemate Kazuo Saji to rely on, RYOMA and Tetsu would have had to look outside the Matsuki-gun family to find someone to back them up. Rumors that Nobu Nakazawa would return tonight were circulating but his commitments in Super NOVA kept him busy.
That left the fans eager to learn who they could turn to.
Their curiosity comes to an end when “Perfect Fit” by AFI plays and…
THRASH f’n Ogawa walks out to the ring!
The fans have a mixed reaction to this. Some boo the man who seems to not give a damn about them, while others cheer in anticipation of this roughneck punk about to dole out his own brand of justice to Kurt Sanders.
Many question THRASH’s connection to either group or this rivalry but a few enterprising fans quickly check their phones to see that THRASH will be facing Tetsu for the Circuit Title during October's show. Connection? You be the judge! Oh wait… you mean you want to connect to the Peter Venkman Memorial Arena via wifi password? It’s “U8813” 😉
Kurt recoils at the task of facing THRASH and a look of legitimate concern appears on his face. Charles appears unprepared for this surprise and tries to discuss a gameplan with Kurt but he looks too surprised to respond. For his part, Jasper has reacted to none of this. But it would be an even bigger surprise than THRASH’s appearance if he did.
Tetsu, RYOMA, and THRASH walk down to the ring with confidence. THRASH appears to enjoy watching his opponents' nervous reactions and Tetsu does as well. For his part, RYOMA hasn’t broken eye contact with Jasper Woodruff’s head, likely sizing him up for how exactly to drop him on it. Folks, this is sure to be (= is) one of the most heated 6-man matches in UBL's history! What are you waiting for? LICK THAT CLINK… UH! CLICK THAT LINK!

Excuse my strong language but what a good match! The fans rocketed out of their seats (the arena had to vent gas as a result) when Tetsu followed up Ogawa's brutal ”THRASHES 2 ASHES” with the ”Tetsu HOOK!" As exciting as that was, 3 of a Kind matched and raised the bar of teamfoolery when Charles Langford broke RYOMA’s arm with a handshake feign cross arm breaker. This wasn’t just a momentous and brutal return by Charles, it sent a message. After Kurt defeated Tetsu in June by making him tap out to that same armbar, Kurt’s mentor just broke the arm of Tetsu’s mentor here. But what was equally impressive was how RYOMA got right up and continued! No one can doubt his warrior spirit and he did all he could to help for the remainder of the match! At one point, it appeared that THRASH had the chance to cover after his diving headbutt but instead tagged in Tetsu Gushiken. Was it a mind game with Kurt, or was THRASH truly too winded to safely continue without tagging? In any case, Tetsu caught Kurt giving chase to THRASH with ”Tetsu HOOK” which Kurt barely broke out of it. Then Tetsu barely broke out of the "Kurtahajime" after a brutal running DDT! But not only did Tetsu pop back up, he then evened the score with Kurt in tag matches by defeating him with the reliable ”Tetsu PLEX”
RYOMA/THRASH/Tetsu (O) [Tetsu PLEX”] (X) Kurt/Jasper/Charles
Despite RYOMA’s injury, 3 of a Kind realize the momentum is not on their side and quickly leave. Kurt taunts Tetsu by pointing to his own waist and making the motion for a belt. But THRASH blows a snot rocket on Kurt, causing him to bail out quicker. THRASH then looks at his partners for the night. RYOMA walks up to him and offers his good hand. THRASH shakes it without any hesitation and nods his head at him out of respect for what RYOMA did here tonight. Tetsu walks up to THRASH and extends his hand as well. THRASH clutches his hand but doesn’t shake it. Instead, he brings Tetsu in closer and stares at him intently. RYOMA doesn’t step in as it’s clear Tetsu isn’t in any danger. But the message is received. THRASH wants Tetsu’s Universal Circuit Title just as much, if not more, than Kurt Sanders does. Tetsu nods and does not appear intimidated. THRASH smiles at this and leaves the ring, walking to the back to some more cheers than he did when he first came out. Tetsu turns his attention to RYOMA’s arm but RYOMA’s adrenaline hasn’t run out just yet. He is actually able to, with great effort, lift it to signal the fans he is okay, but winces afterward. The two walk backstage to get immediate medical attention for RYOMA. Despite their impressive victory tonight, it came at a price.
*A commercial for the out of this world Galastream promotions airs.*
And we’re ready for our main event tonight! Joachim faces Sirius Mask with the winner going on to challenge Matthew Rivers for his NEXUS Championship at the “ALL YOUR BASE” tour-ending show in December. It was Ruby Moreno who made this challenge on behalf of Matthew for Sirius and Joachim. The world is waiting to see whether Ruby’s gambit plays off. Will Sirius Mask compromise the secret of his identity by showing his true in-style or hold it back at the risk of losing?
Ruby Moreno has just come out to ringside and is surrounded by Jeff and Jack Monroe. She has front row seats for all of them and even got novelty foam fingers for Jack and Jeff…as if they weren’t already brimming with fun and enthusiasm!
Match 3: Sirius Mask vs. Joachim
#1 Contendership to the NEXUS Championship
*Joachim comes out to the ring first. But rather than stretching in the middle of the ring, he asks for a microphone. He briefly acknowledges Ruby with his confident glance but then turns his attention to the audience at large.*
[Joachim:] “Every regretful action I have ever taken was a result of misguided ambition corrupted by others with lower moral standards. *glances at Ruby again*. So as much as I wanted to dethrone Matthew Rivers, I realized I would be making the same mistakes as I used to if I did beat him without regard to consequences.
Ruby Moreno concocted a plan that intended to pit my goals against my values, expecting the former to win out. But I am out here tonight to say that she has failed. While it is none of my concern as to why Sirius Mask wishes to remain anonymous, I would be wrong to deny that reality. I wanted to make sure that Sirius kept his promise to me about bringing his best so that if I ever do win the NEXUS Championship again, it is truly worthy of the efforts of those who desire it. But the way I saw it, there was no way Sirius could legitimately compete as long as Destiny was watching.”
*Ruby Moreno grows impatient and decides her payment of the admission price entitles her to be part of the action. She hops the rail and gets into the ring, face to face with Joachim. Don’t try this at your home arena, kids!
[Ruby:] “Fool! What did you do!?”
[Joachim:] “I took you up on your challenge but on my terms.”
[Ruby:] “What…did…you…do!?”
[Joachim:] “Ensure that whether I won or lost against Sirius, that I defeated you.”
*An enraged Ruby gets in Joachim’s face but Joachim is completely calm.*
[Ruby:] “Tell me!”
[Joachim:] “I already wrestled Sirius Mask.”
[Ruby:] “WHAT!?”
[Joachim:] “The only rules of your challenge was for Sirius Mask and I to have a match and that is exactly what we did. However, I first approached Arthur Wingate and Sirius with a proposition for a private match refereed by Drake Yoshida in the UBL Dojo. For further security against prying eyes, Thunder Strike set off an EMP device before the match to ensure that no secret Gauntlet cameras could record us. The match was completed last week. You were the loser of it.”
*Joachim waits as Ruby is at the very edge of her self-control.*
[Ruby:] “And...who won!?"
[Joachim:] “The man of continued mystery was victorious. Sirius Mask earned the NEXUS Title opportunity at 'ALL YOUR BASE.' I enjoyed one of the best matches of my career against a worthy opponent and you are still none the wiser.”
*Ruby is as angry as we have ever seen her but she manages to compose herself.*
[Ruby:] "I'll...offer you an opportunity. One more. Divulge everything you know about Sirius based on that match and we let you back in to Destiny. Consider the excommunication revoked if you come back with us and tell me how he beat you, what his style is, and anything that would help me identify who he is before he faces Matthew."
[Joachim:] "He is someone who will easily defeat the empty shell of what was once Matt Rivers."
*Ruby slaps Joachim across the face.*
[Ruby:] “I gave you so many chances to return to us, you filthy apostate! Even after your repeated betrayal, I extended one more olive branch to you… praying you would do the right thing and expose Sirius. But no, you just had to do things your misguided noble way. And what do you have to show for it? No Title match and a crippled body.”
[Joachim:] “You lack the grace for prayer. Also, I don’t recall saying I suffered an injury.”
[Ruby:] “Idiot.”
*Ruby gestures the Monroe Brothers into the ring. Joachim isn’t alone though, as (a likely prepared) Jang Bae runs out from the back area to the ring to support him. Joachim and Jang get the better of the Monroes but then Matthew Rivers comes out from the opposite side of the crowd and attacks them both from behind by clipping their legs. All three Destiny members put the boots to Jang and Joachim and Ruby gets her shots in as well. She then screams for them to finish the job. But, all of a sudden, the air seems to grow eerily cold throughout the arena as the BattleTron turns on...

And just when you thought it was safe to go out on Friday, the 13th...
Jakob of Furis, the Devil of Densus, the vampire of the vestling ving, has returned!
The fans are besides themselves with disbelief and horror as Jakob of Furis, the brutal and unhinged vampire, stalks down to the ring. Before he even makes his target clear, Ruby Moreno audibly screams "oh shit" and immediately bails out of the ring, tripping over the audience barrier as she jumps into the crowd and runs as far away from Furis as possible.
Furis gives chase but is stopped by both Monroe brothers who already rolled out of the ring to meet him. However, they are each taken out with one chop by Furis that lashes like a whip and cuts both of their throats at the same time. They collapse on the floor, gasping for air. Furis resumes his chase of Ruby. Two men wearing Gauntlet Security gear emerge from the crowd and attempt to slow his pursuit. Infuriated, he suddenly bites the neck of one of the security guards, causing near “Samurai Shodown” levels of blood squirting. Despite this guard losing blood, the other guard turns pale as a ghost witnessing the attack and immediately escapes on his own. Furis goes into the crowd in the direction of Moreno.
Matthew Rivers seemingly ignored all of this and waited for a chance to be left alone with a downed Jang and Joachim. Before he can pounce, the lights turn off. When they come back on, Sirius Mask is standing in front of Rivers, blocking him from doing any more damage to Jang and Joachim. Rivers appears intrigued by this situation, sensing a renewed opportunity to force Sirius into revealing his style. However, all Sirius does is prevent Rivers, alternating between blocks and parries, from landing any attacks until Jang and Joachim eventually get up. Realizing he is outnumbered, Rivers begins to leave before suddenly turning and attempting a double leg takedown on Sirius. Rather than block it, Sirius kicks Matt’s arm out from under him, sending him to the ground. Rivers rolls out of the ring clutching his arm. But, as he walks to the back, he smiles due to forcing Sirius to show an unplanned and purely instinctual response. Jang and Joachim thank Sirius then Joachim holds Sirius’ hand up in the ring in support of his victory in their previous match.
We will see you in October for the next stop of the Debased Tour!
Right after the formal show is over, Sergeant Drake Yoshida comes out and apologizes due to the advertised third match not occurring. He says that, to compensate, everyone will walk out with a free UBL merchandise bag and a bonus match! The crowd is sent home happy with a “dark” match between Tsaoring Chou and Thomas Mills that some fan decided to put online below!
