"The Randolph Wire" – “Seen and Raised”
Hello fans, this is John Randolph with an announcement about a talent returning as well as confirmations about the roster for the Universal Championship League in pursuit of crowning our first "Infinite Continuum" Champion.
Last summer, Kazuo Saji agreed to a 12-month suspension as a result of pressure exerted upon him under threat of lawsuits against him, UBL, and Luke Kisiera by Kurt Sanders and Charles Langford. Under the terms of that deal, Kazuo would not have been able to return to the UBL until June of this year.
It turns out that L.A.W.L. isn’t the only promotion that sounds like L.A. Law. For the second time in one calendar year, another major lawsuit has been threatened. As a result of his theft of the OG-Joshi World Championship Belt, Kurt Sanders got served by Luke Kisiera, Jean Carter, and Robin Walker.
However, all parties have agreed to avoid litigation under these stipulated terms:
- Kazuo Saji's suspension has ended and his previous deal with Kurt has been voided. Not only is Kazuo now eligible to compete in a UBL ring, he will also be a participant in the Universal Championship league!
- Kurt Sanders will also be in the Universal Championship league. Upon his request, he won't be in the same block as Kazuo or RYOMA. Upon Luke and Jean's request, Kurt will be in the same block as Alicia Gordon. Alicia did not have a direct role in the negotiations but did not care about Kurt's presence in the block she called her own.
- Charles Langford will also be in the Universal Championship league. Upon Charles request, he won't be in the same block as Kazuo or RYOMA. However, Charles will be in the same block as Tetsu Gushiken...who I now have the pleasure to announce is also going to be in the League! However, Tetsu’s inclusion is not a result of this negotiation. Rather, it was due to his long reign as Universal Circuit Champion.
- Kazuo Saji gets a guaranteed match with Kurt Sanders after the Universal Championship league is over unless they face each other in the tournament that follows the league.
- Jasper Woodruff will not be directly punished or rewarded as a result of his role in the Title Belt theft but he has promised to never publicly dress as Santa Claus again. This was the rare stipulation that all parties happily agreed to without any further negotiation or threats. Good to see we can all unite around something these days.
We will have news of more participants in the coming weeks!
