::Corey O'Brian is in the ring of his dojo, wiping down the ropes.::
Corey O'Brian: "A few weeks ago, I faced one of my greatest rivals, Chris DaMico. One of the best technical wrestlers I've ever known in my career. We went to war. Last time we had faced off... he won. This time, I won. That's the kind of win that makes you feel you can take on the world. And I've been having excellent matches since. I'm on a roll, and that's removed any lingering doubts I've had. Because this means I am still in my prime. At the tail end, yes, but I'm still in it. And now I have another incentive to make it to the finals of the Infinite Continuum. A match with Geese. The dream match I've been chasing since I came here."
Corey O'Brian: "But to get there, I have to conquer the C Block first. And my first obstacle is Jaochim. Now everyone knows that I am Jaochim's harshest detractor, but I am not taking him lightly. I'm studying tape, I'm working with sparring partners similar to his style, me and Xander have devised a workout regimen specifically tailored to making sure I'm as physically prepared as I am mentally for anything Jaochim will throw at me. I am focused like the laser sight of a sniper rifle, and I am pointed directly at Jaochim's head."
Corey O'Brian: "And make no mistake, I harbor no animosity towards Jaochim. I may not trust him, but there's not many people in this business that I do. I've been critical of him but he's proved himself to be a capable competitor. But he is an obstacle in my way. Not just in winning this tournament, not just in facing Geese Walker. My goal is to hand the championship off to someone I know is a worthy champion, and to look them in the eye, and tell them, 'The future of wrestling is in your hands now. I've been on top for fifteen years, surpass me,' And if you want to be that person, Jaochim, you're going to have to face the greatest test of your career to date. You used to hold your arms against flames. You will find my spirit burns hotter than any fire."
