To some, the face would be familiar. But it didn't belong here, it seemed... Todd Colton had his gaze firmly locked on the camera, though, either way, and that smug smirk was absolutely unmistakable.
"To those who already know my name and my face... surprised to see this happen? See, I started picking up more interest from... some pretty high places. Seems like Mr. Wingate... Sir Wingate... I'll admit I'm not exactly sure on that one, doesn't matter. He took some interest... said I'm a good fit for this, 'Dimensional' stream. Course, as I understand, it's keeping me out of the big-time championship league that's gonna be rolling along around these parts."
Todd didn't look.. offended, exactly, though there was a bit of a bemused look on his face.
"So. Pretty simple, really. Don't get me wrong... I'm absolutely lookin' forward to this whole thing, one way or another. But I know damn well why you're keeping one of the fastest-rising stars away from the big-time out of the gate. I understand you guys aren't any stranger to egos clashing around here, but lemme make this perfectly clear: you've got no idea what you're in for. Keep me away from the big-boy title all you want, 'cause just like Phoenix Rising, it's only a matter of time before I get my due.
Cause this place is about to get a taste of the future. A glimpse of just what's gonna be on the horizon. Some of you are gonna take a look and write me off as all flash, no substance... and the moment you do is the moment I show you exactly how wrong you are.
New fed... new faces. A whole new environment to show my talents, my ability, and a chance to leave as many arms hangin' limp as I can get my hands on. Oh, yeah... I think I'm gonna enjoy this. You can absolutely count on that."
