The eleventh and FINAL show of the Universal Champion League 2007 is here!! That's right, after an entire Summer and Fall, this great league will now come to a close tonight. The only questions left are whether or not a tiebreaker match will be necessary for the 12/13 PPV and how many wrestlers will be involved in said potential match! Jack Dod, Jason Hyde, Twinky McLanahan and Thunder Strike are the current league leaders with seven wins each and they all are scheduled for tough matches tonight! Meanwhile, OrochiGeese, Marauder, and Bak Fu are not far behind as they are each rocking six wins, but any chance of them walking out of this show as the sole champion is impossible. They will each have to aim for making it into a tiebreaker finale match but to do so is not easy: Not only do they have to win their matches tonight, but there would have be some double countouts in key matches. So with seven men left in general contention, and the final night of action upon us, we begin the show! But first, we go to the official UBL Hostess/Mistress of Ceremonies: Jean Carter!
[Jean:] "What, no perverted remark?"
It's the final show, we're all business tonight!"
[Jean:]: "It's about time!! Better late then never, I suppose!"
That's what SHE said!
[Jean:]: "I'll choose to ignore that!! But what I can't ignore is the odd situation placed before us in the first match! The two men who have been brutally injured in this league are now set to face each other! Is this the result of cosmic forces plotting or a logical byproduct of a dangerous environment?! Probably the latter as It was Jack Dod who cracked Nick Strife's kneecaps a few weeks back. Then, at our previous show, OrochiGeese eviscerated Centurion after their match in retalition for Centurion's shocking win!! It is unlikely Centurion will even be able to wrestle again, not to mention compete here tonight! So Drake Yoshida said that if Nick Strife can simply make it into the ring, he can be awarded the win for this match. So uh, let's go to the ring and see if Nick has enough power to walk on those two badly fractured kneecaps!! Mind you, in this match, Nick's greatest enemies are hamburger wrappers, feet of fans that don't like him, and gravity itself! Can he dig deep down to get this epic win!?"

Uh...well it looks like Nick Strife was able to fight off his knee injury long enough to "walk that aisle" to get into the ring! Good for him! He wins be DEFAULT, "the two sweetest words in the english language!" It's fun to talk in quotes when the first match lasted 0 seconds!! Good for Nick for getting the easiest win over Centurion in this entire league! And THAT's saying something...but don't tell OrochiGeese I said it!! (wait...)
Nick Strife (O) [Showing up to fight - 0.00] (X) Centurion
*We go backstage to OrochiGeese's lockerroom where we see him with a scowl on his face as he is a tense moment with his heavy bag (covered by a picture of Thunder Strike similar to the blood-soaked one on the wall). Holly is watching the show on tv and laughs.
[Holly:] "Oh come on, Geese, cheer up! You HAD to find that amusing! Nick Strife barely could walk!! He almost lost to a slippery, sodery, entrance ramp!! Look at the outcome of this league, look how so many of your enemies have suffered-"
[OG:] "Just STOP. I don't need a pep talk. I just need everything to fall into place tonight."
[Holly:] "I hope you got something good up your sleeve, then. Cause even if you beat Blunder Tyke...you still have to make sure those other twits lose! I mean, yeah, Marauder could beat Dod, its not impossible, at least. But Jason and Twinky...Geese, one of them HAS to win since they are facing each other!!"
[OG:] "No, none of them have to do anything other then SUFFER due to what I have in store for them. I have Cur security here tonight, I have Figaro and Clyde present as well. And thanks to Mr. Yoshida, I even have knowledge of another secret force working to our advantage that should make sure that Jack Dod will NOT beat Marauder tonight. And I will PERSONALLY ensure that both Twinky and Jason Hyde won't make it through their match. Then...I will take my revenge on Thunder Strike for causing...*OG's face briefly spasms in disgust last show's unpleasantness."
[Holly:] "What do you have planned, Big G?"
[OG:] "Everything. Everything that will humiliate and cripple my enemies. Everything that will leave them no way of escaping my fury-"
*Just then, a loud noise is heard outside the door followed by several metallic, clicking noises. OG and Holly rush to try to open the door, but it's blocked! They are stuck inside the locker room! OG looks out the window and sees none other then Thunder Strike putting the finishing touches on some kind of massive lock that frames the entire door. Next to Thunder Strike is Jang Bae, Jason Hyde, and Twinky McLanahan, all who helped Thunder Strike hold the door and install the massive lock structure. OG is shouting but Thunder Strike just shakes his head at him.
[Thunder:] "You think us all fools? We knew you'd have plans for tonight, but WE teamed up and beat you to it. Your whole plan of divide and conquer didn't work because you went too far in your violence. It brought us together against a common goal. And tonight you have no choice but to watch people ACTUALLY COMPETE without any interferences or shenanigans. Your whole purpose in this league ends tonight: No more victory and no more violence."
[Jang Bae:] *Laughs* "Well, except the kind you're gonna deliver to him!"
*OrochiGeese begins throwing anything he can grab (except Holly) at the door but to no avail. They are firmly locked in. Thunder Strike's industrial strength military-grade lock has defeated Geese. But Geese won't accept it and keeps trying to force open the door. Holly quickly grabs her cell phone and tries to call for help only to hear a kick on the outside of the door. Startled, Holly looks outside and sees that Alicia Gordon has emerged from behind the guys!! She is smirking and holding a cell phone jammer that Thunder Strike gave her! Damn his black ops technology! Holly's cell phone has jobbed, leaving her and Geese stuck in the locker room until someone notices!! (or until one of YOU viewers call the UBL arena and inform the authorities! But I'm guessing that won't happen cause um...this isn't a live show...it's late anyway...and the arena isn't real. Plz don't call.)
The culprits on the outside merely begin walking their seperate ways to their own locker rooms. Alicia goes with Thunder Strike and Jang Bae after wishing Jason Hyde luck for his match later. Horrible sounds are heard from the inside as Geese is quickly losing his mind as he realizes how grim the outlook of his chances to sabotage key matches have now become! Holly, for her part, keeps trying to get her cell phone to work until Geese grabs it and throws IT at the door, shattering it. Holly merely sits down and pouts while Geese is livid and trashes the place.*
And on THAT pleasant note, we go back to the ring where we have a VERY heated confrontation coming up after what happened at the previous show. Thunder Strike and Bak Fu used Nightmare's opportunism to their advantage and without his consent. They manipulated him into unintentionally knocking out UBL Sergeant and referee, Drake Yoshida. Drake did not punish Nightmare but he has vowed to punish both Bak Fu and Thunder Strike. Thunder Strike's punishment may come later tonight as he faces OrochiGeese. But right now Bak Fu faces Nightmare with Drake Yoshida as the referee!! And make no mistake about it, as angry as Drake Yoshida was at being knocked out and losing some teeth, Nightmare was furious at being used and then discarded from the ring!! Nightmare has VOWED revenge against Bak Fu here and may be in just the position to get it.
However, Bak Fu needs this win to keep his hopes alive of forcing a tiebreaker! As impressive as Nightmare has looked throughout this league, can be defeat the violent legend known as Bak Fu? Especially with Bak Fu's last chance at the Universal Champion title on the line? Can Nightmare raise his game to a new level and be assisted just enough by the ref? Or is this going to be a head-dropping nightmare for Nightmare that he won't soon forget...actually, he WOULD soon forget it if he kept getting dropped on his head! But what matters here is...wait, I forgot. Let's get to the match!!

My Goose, what a war!! To anyone who doubted what Nightmare could do when he was pushed to the limit, there's MAJOR egg on your faces now!! Haha, egg don't clean up easy, bitches!! You like your embarrassment served sunny side up!? Huh? HUH!?
*Ahem.*
Nightmare was at his very best tonight and looked more dangerous then ever before!! However, Bak Fu was up to the occasion as well and the two went at each other with reckless abandon!! These two repeatedly cracked each other with brutal strikes the entire match! More busaiku knees then you could shake a stick at!! Where all my shake stickers at? You been busy this match, huh? Hell yeah!!
As the match went on, Bak Fu took control. He looked to be on the cusp of victory with the "Last Breath" sleeperhold but Drake Yoshida made him break the hold on account of Nightmare allegedly making it to the ropes! Nightmare then took Bak out of the ring with a breathtaking avalanche frankensteiner!! That put the crowd on their feet and they never sat back on their gum-stained seats afterwards! Bak still fought back though and regained control. But the final turning point occurred when Nightmare hit his moonsault footstomp finisher. Even though Drake called a rope break, the damage had been done. Moments later Nightmare was able to grab Bak Fu for the Nagatamare Lock III and forced the shocking tap out!! Nightmare just earned the biggest victory of his UBL career tonight!!
Nightmare (O) [Nagatamare Lock III - 14:30] (X) Bak Fu
*Drake holds Nightmare's hand up in victory and signals for a mic.*
[Drake:] "Congratulations Nightmare, it is a pleasure to see a loyal longtime UBL wrestler be victorious over Bak Fu and end his hopes for Championship gold in this league. But after what he did to us at the previous show, I don't think tonight's victory is sufficient revenge by itself. What do you think?"
*Nightmare grins and then shakes his head no. Drake gestures to Nightmare to hold Bak Fu down.*
[Drake:] "You might not be surprised but Bak Fu hasn't made many friends here over the last few months. It wasn't just you and I that he has wronged in this league, but at least two other men. Two MORE warriors of the old UBL that you are quite familiar with. So I think it's time that Bak Fu gets shown a little something about how to respect the wrestlers of this great, legendary, promotion."
*Naja Mask comes out to ringside, leading Marauder. The two get into the ring and Naja begins instructing Marauder to attack the downed Bak Fu. Marauder doesn't comply as he seems conflicted as to whether or not Bak Fu is his enemy. The two have had many interactions before in this league: some positive, some negative, almost all confusing. Naja Mask argues with Marauder about Bak Fu's intentions, while Nightmare sneaks behind and throws the beaten Bak Fu onto Marauder's shoulder!! Marauder thinks he is being attacked and immediately powerslams Bak Fu!! Naja Mask acts enraged at this apparent sneak attack by Bak and instructs Marauder what to do about it! Nightmare already managed to escape suspicion and Drake Yoshida did his best to assure Marauder of Bak's violent actions. It doesn't take Naja any more cajoling to get Marauder to finish the job here, as a "Centrifugal Silencer" (Haiti Edge) followed by a "Particle Accelerator" (Running Powerbomb) lays Bak Fu out. Naja Mask takes the microphone from Drake Yoshida.*
[Naja:] "Bak Fu is the firsssst to fall to Team Sssssnake Mountain!! Nightmare, Marauder, and I will dominate the Battalion Tag League! Marauder and I won thosssse very titlessss lassssst year and we will do it again with Nightmare assss our third member!! No one can ssssstop ussss!"
*The three pose menacingly over the fallen body of Bak Fu. Nightmare and Marauder leave the ring but Naja Mask stays. Drake takes one final stomp to the mouth of Bak Fu, hoping to loosen some teeth, before leaving as well.*
After a dubious (at best) first match, we now have positive momentum thanks to the match between Bak Fu and Nightmare!! Not to mention the violent formation of a new Universal Battalion league faction!! Wait? What's that you say? The best way to kill positive momentum on a wrestling show is a heel vs. heel match? But I don't have one schedu....oh snap.
Match #3 - Flip Staley vs. Naja Mask
Naja Mask showed more confidence in this league match then any of the previous ones. Perhaps it was because of his strong (but still losing) performance against Jason Hyde on the previous show. But most likely it was because of the formation of his new Battalion tag team faction. In any case, he was definitely a hard snake to get a hold of, even taking into account the excellent ground techniques of Flip Staley. Every time Flip would mount Naja, Naja found a way to squirm out of the hold!! This continued until Flip intentionally allowed Naja to get up and then clocked him right in the mush with a punch!!
Naja falls on his ass and Flip pursues. But not fast enough as Naja manages to shoot his "Venom Spew" mist from the ground straight up at Flip! Flip shields his eyes but some damage is still done. However, when Naja attempts to take advantage of the blinded Flip (As Nightmare did against Flip in their match at the previous show) and attack him with a Fang Cutter Flip manages to fluidly break it and counter it into a rear naked choke!! Naja tries to squirm to the ropes and even grabs it, but Flip then rolls both their bodies back into the middle of the ring before the ref's five count. Naja looks like he's in trouble here, as he's fading fast and Flip finally has a firm grasp on him! Finally, Naja is helped out of the hold by a returning Marauder and Nightmare!! Nightmare even hits Flip Staley with a Busaiku Knee for good measure!! The ref (Kenshin) has now disqualified Naja Mask!!
Flip Staley (O) [Disqualification- 09:15] (X) Naja Mask
*Flip Staley is smart enough not to try to fight off the two standing members of "Snake Mountain" and leaves the ring before things turn bad for him. He even watches as the fans give him a rather large ovation. Despite the fact that Flip never fit into their exact mold of a "hero", no one can doubt the impact he has had on this league and the fond memories he gave them of knocking the shocked sh*t out of Geese! The UBL fans recognize talent and Flip has finished with a respectable six and four record, not to mention some great performances throughout all his matches. But tonight, he is to be heralded as an intelligent man and one that almost achieved the sixth victory by himself before the DQ win was even necessary.*
*Snake Mountain do not appear to be leaving, and that is seemingly because the third member of their team, Marauder, is next up to have a match! And not just any match, but one against Jack Dod! Jack Dod comes to the ring, shaking his head in mock disappointment. He weakly gestures for Nightmare and Naja to leave the ring, but it's clear that he doesn't really expect them to retreat without a fight. Was THIS the force OrochiGeese earlier alluded to that would hurt Jack Dod's chances? If so, it's not enough, because Jack Dod has backup of his own...which he signals by pointing right at them in the crowd!! It's Caleb and Ronnie Dod!! The two join Jack and then storm the ring with him! Ronnie and Caleb throw out Nightmare and Marauder and those four are fighting on the outside which allows Jack Dod to get his one on one match fair and square....just the way Jack Dod likes it! *Chokes back the irony*
*Meanwhile, Mr. Figaro has run out from the backstage area and has begun to brawl with Caleb! These two have a match coming up at the November Open and it looks like Figaro is making his message known now!! They fight backstage as Marauder and Nightmare now double-team Ronnie. Finally, the Brickton Curs come out and clear the entire area through their own combination of violence and riot control! This leaves Marauder and Jack Dod in the ring, staring at each other. Even if this was just a regular exhibition match it would be huge based on the credentials and skills of both men. Marauder, the Universal Champion of 2006 and one half of the Universal Battalion of 2006. Jack Dod, a former and current PW-W UWH Champion amongst other great achievements. But this match is made even bigger with all that is presently on the line. If Marauder can win, Jack Dod's hopes for championship gold MAY be extinguished: provided that none of the other three men that Jack is tied with happens to win tonight. But unless Marauder definitely wins this match, there will no longer be any chance of HIM getting into a tie-breaker match since he is behind the league leaders by one match. Must-win sitaution for Marauder, "kinda better"-win situation for Jack. Who will have the skills to claim this match as their own as two of the top wrestlers of the entire league battle it out for the first time ever!?*

What an incredible match these two put on!! A contender for greatest match of the league so far, no doubt!! Each man showed their best throughout and was forced to raise their intensity even higher when met with further resistance!! (sounds like a perpetual motion machine!) Marauder went after Jack like few others have in this league, really taking the fight to him and not being intimidated at all by Jack's stature and cheating ways. Marauder even hit his rarely seen finisher, the "Particle Accelerator" (Running Powerbomb), on Jack but the wily Dod saved himself by clutching onto the ropes for dear life! Marauder also impressed the hell out of the crowd, getting a standing ovation, by kicking out of multiple DodSmacks. Few knew how resilient Marauder could be until this match, but he truly raised his game when so much was on the line!
Still, tonight was Jack Dod's night and he mounted a huge comeback over the course of the match despite getting surprised early by Marauder. When Jack saw that his high impact offence wasn't making enough of a dent in his fierce and quite BURLY opponent, he decided to go to his second bag of tricks and target the leg. This paid off big time as the damage was enough to make Marauder actually pass out to the pain. The preceding piledriver certainly helped spur that chain of events, but Marauder had enough in his tank to briefly fight the Four-Figure Leglock until he finally just lost consciousness due to the pain.
Jack Dod (O) ["Four-Figure Leglock" - 20:32] (X) Marauder
Jack Dod advances to the finals!! He is now guaranteed, at the very least, to be part of a Tiebreaker match at the OG-FPD 4 Year Anniversary PPV!! And he even has a shot at being the sole Universal Champion if the next match results in a double count out AND if OrochiGeese wins his match against Thunder Strike. Jack Dod, and his Four-Figure Leglock is money!
Meanwhile, we have to reflect on the very strong performance that Marauder has shown throughout the league. Many doubted that this "UBL Original" would be able to adjust to the new competition but Marauder did that and more. He was a top contender throughout and a true force to be reckoned with in EVERY sense of the word. He should be an integral part of "Snake Mountain's" chances in the upcoming Universal Battalion League!
As for Jack Dod, he has been DOMINANT throughout the 2007 Universal Champion League. While he did manage to win some matches through nefarious means, its matches like tonight that show just what he is capable of when he stays mostly clean but tries his hardest. His victory against the Marauder follows the previous show's "questionable one" against Twinky McLanahan. But what is not at all up for debate is that Jack Dod has more momentum now then ever before in this league!!
There is another effect of the results of this match. Jack Dod's victory now marks the end of OrochiGeese's hopes of forcing a tiebreaker! Geese no longer has any chance of winning this league!! Although OrochiGeese defeated Jack Dod earlier in the league, Jack gets the last laugh by winning the match that knocks Geese out of contention AND either advancing to a tiebreaker finale or being the sole champion!! And when we look back to the May Voltage with how Jack chided and tricked Geese into allowing him to participate, and then see the point we are at now, we can say that Jack truly orchestrated a major coup and has once again upstaged OrochiGeese!! (show is continued in next post)
