*Continued from Part 1 (OG-Joshi related)*
Jean Carter: "The UBL has generated a lot of publicity lately and you have been making frequent acquisitions to your "Reserve" roster. How do you see that playing into the success of the UBL?"
OG: "The "Reserve" roster is even more important then many people realize. Right now there are twelve wrestlers about to compete in the Universal Champion League but those twelve are not guaranteed to participate in future leagues. Already it is clear that the Universal Battalion tag League will be made up of many of the current Reserve members and not all of the singles league ones."
Jean: "So you really envision the "Reserve" roster to be more of a 'waiting room' then a constant division."
OG: "No, not a waiting room. Simply another room of equal value that displays our talent in a different way then the Leagues will. Our 'Open' shows are constant but the "Reserve" roster is fluid in relation to the future Leagues. Everyone in the UBL will have a chance to prove themselves eligible for either roster at different times so that they may compete in different ways. To give you a striking example, I plan to be on the "Reserve' roster once I win the Universal Championship and it is time for the Universal Battalion League."
Jean: "Not that I'm doubting you, but that's a bit of a 'loaded' assertion there..."
*Jean giggles as Geese grins*
Jean: "We'll take that part a bit later. But that is very surprising that you will place yourself on the Reserve roster rather then compete in the Battalion league. You WERE a former UBL Battalion Champion, after all."
OG: "Bolt enjoyed tag team wrestling, OrochiGeese does NOT. It's not through an inability, but a lack of desire to share an accomplishment with others...or to have to DEPEND on another."
Jean: "Yes, your history with previous tag team partners that didn't 'measure up' is well documented."
OG: "Besides, I can still take a share of the tag glory even when I'm not in the ring due to my choice of teams. The Orochi Army team of Mr. Figaro and Johnny Wang were the undefeated, final reigning McPro Tag Team Champions and I will be placing THEM in the Battalion league as the Orochi Army representatives. They will become the 2008 Universal Battalion Champions."
Jean: "And you're fine just watching that tag league without being a part of it?"
OG: "At that same time, I will gladly place myself on the "Reserve" roster and will seek to wrestle on a more flexible basis then the schedule I have currently in front of me. The value of being on the Reserve list is that I can take full advantage of the Open shows. Right now, it is doubtful that I will compete on an Open show during the 2007 singles league due to its busy schedule. But when I'm on Reserve, I will be glad to take advantage of those shows to challenge those I wish to crush."
Jean: "Getting to that general topic, who do you see as your main threats in this upcoming league?"
OG: "Out of all those in the Universal Champions League, I have only been defeated by McLanahan and Dod. However, this is a very different atmosphere then PW-W. They have never faced a league quite like this, whereas I have. I will be ready for the constant combat AND competitors they are not familiar with. Has McLanahan ever faced Marauder, or Jack Dod challenge Naja Mask? Never."
Jean: "You said that only Twinky and Jack have beaten you, but isn't it true that Thunder Strike, Naja Mask, and Marauder hold victories over you from the old UBL?"
OG: "Again you make the same mistake. Do not compare my old record of Bolt to that of OrochiGeese's! Those three do hold some victories over Bolt, though overall they lost more then they won. But the fact is that I am very different then I used to be and they are NOT. I have evolved, they have mostly stagnated."
Jean: "Even Marauder? He WAS the Universal Champion for 2006!"
OG: "Because neither Thunder Strike nor I were there to compete and win that title as we have done in the past. Still, I will not deny the fact that Marauder is the more impressive of the old UBL talent, that is why I signed him to a contract here, after all. But he is not, nor was he ever, able to compete with me on the same mental plane. And that shortcoming of is why he is of no threat to me now."
Jean: "And what of Thunder Strike's anger towards you?"
OG: "People are angry at me every day, it means nothing to me. What Thunder Strike better understand, however, is that if he continues to back up Alicia Gordon's attempts to hurt Holly, then I can promise that his narcotics experience in VWA will be NOTHING compared to the chaotic mental state I inflict onto him!"
Jean: "What of Jack Dod?"
OG: "His first opponent will be Flip Staley. Flip knows what to do, that is all I will say."
Jean: "That match will be next weekend on June 3rd along as part of the first week of Universal Champion League action. But I have to ask you, after all of the preparation you have done in setting everything up, have you had the time to properly scout out your first few opponents, especially next week's?"
*OG laughs*
OG: "You mean Nick Strife? Miss Carter, I take it you must be relatively new here cause I have been scouting out and THREATENING Nick Strife for months!!"
*Jean blushes*
OG: "I have made it a point to single him out in this league, and even ordered Mr. Yoshida to have Nick be my first opponent! Why? Cause I want to start things off with a BANG! I have actually alerted everyone on the Reserve list that they may be needed to fill in for Nick after next week's match."
Jean: "You...you really intend to injure him?"
OG: "I have vowed to DESTROY McLanahan's cult of "Snack Road." And the best way to do that is to destroy the future of it, which Nick Strife has been declared to be. I will drop him on his head, I will spike his neck onto the canvas, and I will make him bleed until he loses consciousness. And all the while, McLanahan will be backstage in horror as his dream is destroyed! How is THAT not the best possible start to this league!? Do you think the foreshadowing will be lost on McLanahan for our eventual encounter?"
Jean: "I think Nick Strife is probably going to be more ready for this match then any one in his past."
OG: "It won't matter. I won't be satisfied until I finish him off with repeated "Chaos Infinity Hammers" until his neck resembles the careers of those that stand in my way: BROKEN."
Jean: "I could have inferred that last part, yanno!"
OG: "Yes, very good. Now, are there any other questions?"
Jean: "Flip Staley made me feel dirty with his EYES last time I interviewed him, but you didn't."
OG: "That's not a question. But I will say that he was correct about the quality of your "interview assets."
Jean: "Really!? YES!"
*Jean catches herself and mumbles: "must stay professional*
Jean: "Aside from the vows to cripple people, you're one of the better interviews I've had since I got here! No screaming in my ears about KENTA! or slapping people."
OG: "You managed to keep my anger to a minimum with your questions, I will see to it you get a pay raise. However, I do have other business to attend to, so I suggest you take your leave."
Jean: "Yes sir, Mr. Geese. Thanks again for the scoops!"
*In one quick motion, Jean excitedly gets up, manages to trip over her chair, regains her balance and then runs off screen embarrassed! OG rolls his eyes then cracks his knuckles menacingly with a smirk on his face as he looks at the UBL banner in the background.*
