Introduction:
The Universal Battle League is one of very few promotions to have operated on three different continents (Japan, North America, Europe) and under three different owners (Drake Yoshida, Orochi Geese, Arthur Wingate). As a result, the Title succession and continuity have been disrupted a number of times. Here I will list all of the title holders, the basic history of each title. and how each Title operated under each version of the UBL.
As of 2020, the current Universal Battle League is under the ownership of Sir Arthur Wingate and is operated once again in the Peter Venkman Memorial Arena in Westchester, NY. He has designated the NEXUS Title as the highest tier singles title for internal competition. The World Heavyweight Championship is the highest tier singles title intended to be put on the line against wrestlers from other promotions or those that constitute threats to the UBL. The Universal Battalion Tag Titles are the only tag titles with the league no longer operating. The Universal Circuit Title is our equivalent of the TV Title with it stipulated to be defended on any event that has at least three matches. The Field Leader Title is the title held by the leader of the Basic Training program. It has been vacant ever since 2017 and has lost the continuity from when it was created. The Universal Championship is still recognized for its legacy but Arthur has no immediate plans on bringing it back.
UBL NEXUS Championship
This is the Nexus Championship - a traditional Main event Title that wrestlers from the Main Reserve Roster fight for. After it was originally won in a 16 wrestler Tournament, it followed traditional pro wrestling rules for succession throughout the Title's lineage in the United States. When the promotion moved to England and the Champion didn't follow, the lineage was disrupted. A new tournament of eight wrestlers was created in England to crown the NEXUS Champion. This culminated on December 13th, 2012 at the UBL: Re-Crowned PPV. After the tournament, it is back to following traditional pro wrestling rules of succession.
Title Originally Crowned in US: 5/23/2009 - Nexus Title Tournament.
Title "Re-Crowned" in England: 12/13/2012 - Re-Crowned PPV.
Matt Rivers won the Finals of an 8 man tournament that had been going on that year. Joachim defeated him for the Championship at Battle Formation in late 2013 only for Matt to recapture the Title from Joachim at Destiny Drive in late 2014. Alicia Gordon (competing as Sirius Mask) defeated Matt at "ALL YOUR BASE" in late 2019.

5) Corey O'Brian - Won Title: 12/13/2011 - OG-FPD Immortal - Title Defenses - 0. Corey O'Brian did not follow the UBL to England and his Title was stripped. The direct lineage of the US NEXUS Title was ended at that point.

UBL World Heavyweight Championship
When Arthur Wingate recognized this as an official title, he provided this explanation:
"I now formally acknowledge Corey's World Heavyweight Championship as an official UBL Title. In doing so, I particularly emphasize the 'World' notation in it's name. As the holder of this title, Corey O'Brian will be the new gatekeeper of UBL against international wrestlers outside of our promotion who would like to challenge us. A challenger will have to put up $10,000 to face Corey."
Corey O'Brian later added these further stipulations which Arthur granted.
Title Originally Earned: June 5, 2014 - Circuit Show.
Title Officially Recognized: December 13, 2016 - "13."

Universal Circuit Championship
This is the "Circuit" Championship - the UBL equivalent of a "TV Title" that was announced during the Base 11 show. Tetsu Gushiken was the first Champion after winning an 8-wrestler Tournament that ran in the second half of 2018.
Rules:
1) The Circuit Champion will defend the Championship on every official UBL event that has at least 2 other matches.
2) The Circuit Champion will not get an automatic rematch if they lose their Title.
3) The Circuit Champion can not choose their opponents. They will be selected by the head office.
4) The Circuit Champion does have a right to defend their Title in matches held in addition to the ones on official shows. For example, the Circuit Champion can challenge anyone in a stand-alone match in the UBL Dojo.
5) Matches where the Circuit Championship is on the line will have a fifteen minute time limit.
Current Champion:
THRASH Ogawa - Won Title: Debasement Tour - October 27, 2019 - Title Defenses: 1

Field Leader Championship
This is the "Field Leader" Championship - the Title that designates the best of the "Front Lines" roster, the one in charge of the dojo, and the person who must be beaten for a Front Lines member to get a Swap Match opportunity with a main roster member.
Current Champion: VACANT
Previous Champions:
1) Matt Rivers - Awarded Title: 11/12/10 RP . Title defenses: 4 wins (Crimson Tide, Markus Caesaro, Jin Onusurai, RYOMA) 2 losses (Arthur Wingate, Markus Caesaro)
2) Darius - Won Title: Basic Training March 2013. Title Defenses: 6 (Kazuo Saji, ZUKAMIKUDO, Algernon LeBlanc, NorthStarLion, Tetsu Gushiken, Kazuo Saji.)
Note: The Field Leader won't lose his Championship simply by losing a Title match. He has to be defeated AND his opponent must to elect to take the position rather then challenge for a "Swap" match against a Main Roster member.

Universal Battalion Championship
After the 2008-2010 League, the Universal Battalion League Trophy was transformed into a traditional tag team Championship. When UBL moved to England, the Battalion Titles were vacated as the Champions at that time (Jason Hyde and Kyle Walker) were not in good standing with Arthur Wingate and they already split as a team as well. So Arthur held a new league in England which JET Hamada and the Marauder won. Just as in the 2008-2010 league, the league trophy was then transformed into a traditional tag team Championship title subject to traditional rules of pro wrestling succession. This is the new lineage of that Battalion title and it started with JET Hamada and Marauder winning the Battalion League.
Current Champions: Vacant pending tournament.
